I grew up with a Grandmother who showed her love to her children and grandchildren through home baked goods. We'd go to farmers markets together to pick out fresh berries for pies, or go to a local chocolatiers to select the finest chocolates to put in a Danish or muffins. She baked everything from scratch, and thought of others in everything she did. She left behind a legacy of love for others, and the best chocolate chip cookie recipe to never make its way into print.
My Grandmother inspired my simple baking philosophy:
Use real ingredients that would be found in her pantry.
Bake everything fresh and with care.
Provide desserts for your celebrations, helping you create memories that last a lifetime.
My Grandmother struggled with Alzheimers in her later years. A portion of all my profits benefit the Alzheimers Association, whose mission it is to end this disease that takes our memories from us too soon.
